Cameron LNG, USA, double terminal
MARIMATECH has for a long time tried to sell laser docking systems in the United States of America. But so far with no luck.
The main reason for not buying from MARIMATECH is that the US customers wanted references. And not references in Europe, South America or Asia.
Nobody wanted to be the first in the US to select us as supplier.
BUT at the end 2006 – after many visits and many mails back and forth, we received an order for a dual terminal for an LNG project in the US.
This is really a breakthrough and we see it as the first step in getting many more orders ‘over there’.
The EPC company for the Cameron
LNG order was AKER 6 KVAERNER, a large engineering company in Houston with main office in Norway.

Adriatic LNG, Italy
As the project for Cameron LNG, we also sold a large system for another LNG project called Adriatic LNG.
This LNG terminal will be build 17 km from the Italian city Rovigo.
The MARMATECH system is very large and contains:
- Laser docking system
- Quick Release Hooks with Remote Release
- Mooring Load Monitoring System
- Weather system with forecast system
- H-ADCP Profiler for wave and current measurements.

Tarragona Spain, 5 berths
Another large project sold in 2006 was for Tarragona in Spain.
The system includes Laser Docking System
for 5 berths, Environmental Monitoring
System, Mooring Load Monitoring System, Remote release and equipment for an SPM as well.
The system was sold to Tarragona by our partner in Spain Prosertek.
Within the next 6 months we expect that Prosertek and MARIMATECH will deliver two more systems in Spain.

E-Sea Fix, Le Havre France.
Le Havre in France is expanding their harbour and it is going to be one of the most busy one of the investments in 2006 they wanted to purchase a very accurate system for their pilots for both Le Havre and Antifere.
In the past they had used an old French system
(SERCEL) which was providing the pilots with the most important information, presented
on a very simple screen.
And since the pilots are known to be very conservative and since they were familiar with the old screens they requested that the new systems screen lay-out should be similar to the old.
We did our best to make them accept a standard solution based on our new software
from SevenCs.
But they insisted on this simple lay-out without
a normal chart but only with a simple harbour layout as the chart.
Our own development department made the system in a way which was very close to their old system.
And they accepted the systems. However, over time we hope to convert the program to our new E-Sea Guide program.
