During 2006 we sold more MP 35 sounders than we had done for a long time. One of the projects was sold to Thales Safare from France. Thales Safare are specialized in supplying equipment for the navy and especially submarines and in the past they had delivered the old model which now was going to be replaced.
Our standard MP 35 had to be modified both mechanically and electronically. The picture shows how the sounder looks after these modifications. Some of the customers who purchased our MP 35 sounder were new customers and some were replacing their old MARIMATECH sounders after many years of use. These re-buy orders are very encouraging because it clearly demonstrates that they have been satisfied with the quality and performance of our equipment otherwise they would not come back.
