During the next year the pilots of Thailand will start using Portable Pilot Units (PPU) and for that reason they are investigating the market for such systems. In the spring of 2009 they were testing several systems and one of them being the MARIMATECH CAT II system.
One of the concerns the pilots had was the weight and of course the size of the system. The demonstration of the system was done in the port of Map Tha Phut (check stavning) in the very early morning. The pictures shows one of the pilots with the MARIMATECH CAT II system and with a total weight of about 5 kg it is one of the lowest in the world.
